My vision for this non-profit organization is for it to be a collective of neurodivergent teachers. I know teachers have a lot on their plates, just like all teachers. Perhaps that is why people are hanging back, watching rather than joining. I envision people participating in ways that make them comfortable. If they want to post things on this webpage, Instagram, and Facebook then that is what they can do. If they want to participate in creating a podcast, they can. If they want to help generate teacher and paraprofessional training and do public speaking, that is what they can contribute. There are so many of us that if everyone is participating a little in a collective effort, the load should not be too heavy on any one individual.
I am still looking for people to serve on a board. A non-profit organization has to have a board to operate. I cannot get far in the process without it.
